We believe the presence of the local church should make our community a better place. And what better way to do that than through the local schools?

Over the last year, we’ve made a significant impact in the South Smithfield Elementary School community through our partnership with them, and this year we are kicking off the start of the school year with a serving blitz to bless the students, teachers, and staff at SSES!

October 24- Beautification Day: We will be at SSES from 9am- 12pm working outdoors to help make the SSES campus look beautiful! If you love outdoor work, this is for YOU! To get involved, email Cherie Johnson.

October 18-19- Snack Drive: We will be collecting pre-packaged snacks for teachers so they can have them on hand for students! Think things like granola bars, individual packets of goldfish, and other individually wrapped snacks. Please avoid high-sugar snacks and snacks with peanut butter, gluten, etc. We will collect these on Sunday, October 11 and October 18 and our staff team will deliver them on Monday, October 19.

October 19-24: Our staff team will be coordinating the delivery of breakfast to teachers, a special gift package for new teachers, and snow cone gift cards from LifeSpring Church for every single student at SSES! Your generosity helps make that happen!
