If you’re reading this, you have so much to be thankful for.
So do I.
We’re alive and breathing, for starters. Just that simple fact is something we so often take for granted. Every single breath is a gift and we are not guaranteed another.
And chances are you have even more to be thankful for than that.
I’m not going to say much this week. All I want to do is challenge each of us to one thing:
Some time this week, stop, sit down with a pen and a piece of paper (or open up a note-taking app) and just start jotting down the things you are thankful for.
Remembering what we have re-shapes our perspective. It makes us more grateful people. And it fuels our hope and reminds us that even in a once-in-a-lifetime crazy year, God has still been overwhelmingly good to each of us.
And that is cause for great joy.
