Pastor Dillon continues the series ‘Unburdened’ talking about what we do when we face the oppression in spiritual battles.
The Overwhelm of Spiritual Opposition
Every day we are in a spiritual battle.
1 Peter 5:8 (NIV): Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Experiencing discouragement means we’re going the right direction.
Psalm 23:3-5 (NIV): he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
When you face discouragement draw your sword.
Ephesians 6:17 (NIV): Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV): We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Act in obedience and stand firm on God’s promises.
Delight is on the other side of discouragement.
Psalm 23:5 (NIV): You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Psalm 23:5 (MSG): …You revive my drooping head…
