As parents, we recognize two things: every child is a gift from God that belongs to God, and our primary purpose as parents is to lead our children to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Child Dedication and Parent Commissioning is an opportunity for new parents to be encouraged and supported as they stand before the church as a family and commit to parent their children in a way that reflects these truths.
For those interested in Child Dedication and Parent Commissioning, there is a required class to attend. During this class, we will walk through in more depth these two ideas and why we choose to acknowledge them in public before the church.
